Products
Add products, photos, SKUs, types, groups and imports.
- What is a product in Orolens?
A product is one item you sell, saved once with its name, SKU, type and photos. Everything else in Orolens starts from it.
Read - How do I add a product?
Open Products, click New product, fill in the name, SKU and type, and add photos. You can also drop photos on the page.
Read - What photos should I upload for the best results?
Upload clear, sharp photos from different angles. Up to 20 photos per product are stored and the first 8 switched-on photos go to the AI.
Read - Which photo files can I upload?
PNG, JPEG, WebP and iPhone HEIC photos, up to 10 MB each. Bigger photos are shrunk for you automatically.
Read - Can I take product photos with my phone camera?
Yes. On a phone or tablet, tap Camera in the Photos box to open the back camera and add the photo straight to the product.
Read - How do I import many products at once from a zip or folder?
Put each product's photos in its own folder named after the SKU, then use Products > Import > Choose zip or Choose folder.
Read - Why were some files or folders skipped during import?
Import skips unsupported files, loose photos outside a folder, folder names that cannot be a SKU, duplicate SKUs and folders with over 20 photos.
Read - Why does every product need a type, and which types are there?
The type tells the AI what it is shooting so it picks the right angles and poses. A batch will not start until every product has one.
Read - What is a SKU and what can it contain?
A SKU is your own code for a product. Up to 64 characters: letters, digits, spaces and - _ . / #, starting with a letter or digit.
Read - How do I stop a photo from being sent to the AI?
Click the photo and choose Don't send to AI. You can also mark CAD images as Design render so they are used for shape only.
Read - How do I organise products into groups?
Use groups to sort products, collect them from your team and shoot a whole group as one batch. Create one with the New group chip.
Read - What happens when I delete a group?
Only the group goes. Your products and past batches stay. You can move its products to another group or keep them ungrouped.
Read - How do I delete a product?
Open the product, click Delete, then Confirm delete. Its photos are removed; images you already made from it stay in your Library.
